Katrina

"George Bush doesn't care about Black people."-Kanye West

I have a lot to talk about so lets get to it.

First off we all know about Hurricane Katrina and all the pain and suffering it has caused. It pisses me off that this disaster could have been avoided. And it makes me even more upset that people are dropping the ball when it comes giving aid to people that are struggling out there. I have to give a shout out to Kanye West for speaking his mind about the ordeal (click on the link to read the story) during a concert on Friday. He pretty much nail it with his comments. And I'm not surprised that it was edited out when it aired on the west coast. I guess some people don't want the truth getting out. The look on Mike Myers' face after Kanye spoke his mind was CLASSIC!!! [Watch the video]

It sickens me that a day after the hurricane turned New Orleans into Atlantis, the President flew to San Diego. Its good to know the "Commander in Chief" really cares about people in need. And it also sickens me that Bush is taking his sweet time sending help. Ah yes, compassionate conservatism at its finest.

People knew that this outcome could happen. And our President reduced the Army Corps of Engineers' budget for New
Orleans this summer for the third year in a row.  Bush didn't even try to do anything to stop this. Or anything right after this happened. He just sat on his ass. Good looking out JACK ASS!!

The bottom line is actions speak louder than words. And what Bush has done before, and after this disaster speaks volumes. I guess all he cares about is sending troops to Iraq, rather than sending as much help as possible to those in need in our own country. But I'm sure he'll eventually get around to it. As soon as he's done working on his ranch.

Speaking of things pissing me off. Some of the media covering the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina need to be punched in the mouth. Check this out...

If you're too slow, I'll break it down for you. Why is it that the Black kid was "looting" the grocery store, and the two White people just happen to "find" food at the store?  When I saw this I was disgusted.  If I wanted to read shit like this I'd get my news from the KKK. Certain media groups are reporting crap like this, and I'm pretty sure a great deal of people are just blind to it. Well I see it.  So take my advice, sometimes you have to believe what you see not what you read or hear.

That's all I have to say.

Talk to ya later...
