Raider Genocide....oh and Terrell Owens I don't care how big the Terrell Owens story is. I'm going to talk about something more important first. THE OAKLAND RAIDERS!!! Thank you so much NFL. Thank you
so much for having wonderful NFL officials. Officials that always
choose to screw over MY Oakland Raiders every time the game is close
and rests in their hands. After watching the Raiders play the Chiefs
today I am PISSED!! I'm hotter than a pack of hemorrhoids right now. If
you didn't see the game let me break it down for you.
The Raiders were up 23 to 20
during the last minute and change of the game. The Chiefs are driving
but not really showing any danger of tying the game or going ahead
with a touch down. The Raiders defense was doing a decent job of
putting pressure on Trent Green during this final drive. It was 2nd and 2 with the ball on KC 47 yard line. Trent Green is sacked, but Ed Jasper of the
Raiders is called for tripping. TRIPPING??? That is almost always an
offensive penalty. I was pissed. Why you ask? Because you could clearly
see that Jasper was pulled by the offensive lineman and thrown into
Green. If anything it should of been a holding penalty against the
Chiefs. Which would of been a 10 yard loss. But instead Kansas City
gets a first down, and 10 yards in their favor. They eventually score a
touch down with 3 seconds left, and win the game.
People who love to bash the
Raiders will say that they shouldn't of let Larry Johnson get all the
way to the 1 yard line. But that 37 yard catch never would of happened
if the RIGHT CALL was enforced!!
The Immaculate Reception, The
Tuck Rule, Randy Moss getting flagged for pass interference against KC
early this year, and now this BS tripping call to name a few. The
Raiders always get screwed and I'm sick of it. When the call can decide
the fate of the game, the refs choose to bend over the Raiders and have
their way with them. No K-Y. These refs are the NFL answer to the
stereotypical Catholic Priest.
I'm glad that I'm not married.
Because if I was, there would of been some domestic violence going down
at my place!!!!
Ok I'm done venting. Let's talk about
this entire Terrell Owens drama.
If you have been living under a rock, Terrell Owens has been suspended indefinably by the Philadelphia Eagles. At first it seemed it was only because of the comments he made during an ESPN interview. Owens was upset that there was no in-stadium acknowledgment of his 100th career TD reception. "They claim to be first
class and the best organization. It's an embarrassment. It just shows a
lack of class they have. My publicist talked to the head PR guy, and
they made an excuse they didn't recognize that was coming up. But that
was a blatant lie. Had it been somebody else, they probably would have
popped fireworks around the stadium."-Terrell Owens
He also went on to say that the Eagles would be undefeated if Brett Farve was the Eagles quarterback. Owens later "apologized", and was then suspended a day later. Which surprised me. Yes what Owens did was wrong, but I figured the Eagles would just let it go because it was T.O. But Owens' comments wasn't the sole reason for his suspension. Apparently he always got into a locker room fight with former Eagles' player Hugh Douglas. Sources say that the fight between Owens and Douglas started when Douglas entered the team's training room Wednesday and said: "I know there are people in here faking injuries." Owens took offense because he sat out practice with an ankle injury. It is rumored that both men threw at least two punches during the altercation and when it was over, Owens challenged QB Donovan McNabb first and then everyone else in the room saying, "You want some? Anyone else want some?" Get the picture? T.O. is a great athlete. And a lot of his actions make me laugh. BUT I have no problem with the Eagles suspending him. In the immortal words of Al Davis, "He's a cancer." This had to be done. Either Terrell is doing this just so he can get cut (He will NOT be on the Eagles next year) or he is crazy. Hell, it might be both. Owens wants more money and he wants to play on a team that has a chance to go all the way. But there's a problem. I don't think there is a team that would be willing to take a chance on T.O. Philly did and you see where that got them. And even if a team is willing to give Owens what he wants, chances are that team isn't good enough to make Terrell happy. Its really sad to see someone with so much talent act like this. Thanks for helping to set the Black race back about 20 years Owens. I'm not super religious, but Terrell Owens need Jesus....and some Prozac. That's all I have to say. |
