The Best Damn Sports Forum...Period!

Week 2 of the NFL is over. And here are the only updated power rankings that matter. The Colts are number 1 at the moment and my favorite team is dead last. Looks like its going to be another long season for the Silver and Black.

Oh and make sure you reminder that these are my opinons. Which means they are the right ones. But If you wanna bitch and moan you can shoot me an email.

Enjoy!!!

2006 RyanMcBain.com Power Rankings: Week 2
  RK (LW) TEAM  REC COMMENTS
  Colts
1 (2) Colts
2-0-0 The Colts defense might be suspect, but the passing game is on point. Is Joseph Addai the answer for the Colts running game?
  Seahawks
2 (3) Seahawks
2-0-0 Deion Branch just might put this team over the top.
  Falcons
3 (4) Falcons 2-0-0 The Falcons look tough to beat. Their running game looks good and the same goes for their defense. Michael Vick still needs to improve with his passing.
Patriots
4 (5) Patriots
2-0-0 The Pats plug in system still seems to be working. But they should have kept Branch.
  Bengals
5 (4) Bengals
2-0-0 The Bengals look nice but their lack of defense might be their demise.
  Jaguars
6 (8) Jaguars
2-0-0 The Jags are winning but that is going to come to an end if they don't start using their young WRs more effectively.
  Steelers
7 (1) Steelers
1-1-0 Big Ben = Rusty.
  Bears
8  (10) Bears
1-0-0 The Bears defense will take them far. The offense has arrived, but for how long?
  Ravens
9 (12) Ravens
2-0-0 Air McNair better improve because the Ravens defense can't do everything.
  Chargers
10 (14) Chargers
2-0-0 The Bolts are playing well. But they haven't play anyone good yet.
  Vikings
11 (17) Vikings
2-0-0 Smart teams win games.
  Cowboys
12 (11) Cowboys
1-1-0 Losing Owens isn't going to help. But playing the Titans after their bye will.
  Giants
13 (15) Giants
1-1-0 Eli Manning has proved that he can be a leader.
  Eagles
14 (9) Eagles
1-1-0 The Eagles should be ashamed of themselves for blowing a 17 point lead in the fourth quarter.
  Broncos
15 (20) Broncos
1-1-0 Looks like Jake Plummer is safe...for now.
  Panthers
16 (7) Panthers
0-2-0 Without Steve Smith this team is doomed.
  Saints
17 (24) Saints
2-0-0 The Saints are on a misson right now. But I think they forgot to pack their defense for the trip.
  Niners
18 (29) 49ers
1-1-0 The Niners will fall once they play a team with a decent defense.
  Jets
19 (22) Jets
1-1-0 The Jets played well against the Pats. But the real shocker is that Chad Pennington isn't injurted yet.
  Rams
20 (16) Rams
1-1-0 After beating the Bronces, the Rams had no business losing to the Niners.
Buccs
21 (19) Buccaneers
0-2-0 Simms has much to learn. But don't worry Coach Gruden. You still have Bruce Gradkowski to fall back on :)
  Chiefs
22 (18) Chiefs
0-2-0 Trent Green better come back soon.
   Cardinals
23 (21) Cardinals
1-1-0 The Cards O-Line needs to help out Edgerrin James and Kurt Warner more. But even with the problems the Red Birds have they still might win 8 or 9 games this season.
  Bills
24 (25) Bills
1-1-0 Beating the Fish was impressive I guess. But only because the Bills are not that good.
Redskins
25 (23) Redskins
0-2-0 Portis needs to get healthy ASAP.
  Dolphins
26 (13) Dolphins
0-2-0 Daunte Culpepper needs to get out of his funk.
Lions
27 (26) Lions
0-2-0 The Lions keep losing but Roy Williams told me that their record means nothing as long as he can strike a pose after a catch.
  Browns
28 (27) Browns
0-2-0 The Browns need a QB.
  Titans
29 (28) Titans
0-2-0 The rebuilding continues. Looks for Vince Young to start in about 5 weeks.
  Texans
30 (30) Texans 0-2-0 How's that defence centered around Mario Williams working out for ya? Reggie Bush bitch!! Think about it.
Packers
31(31)  Packers 0-2-0 You might want to start asking to be traded Favre.
Raiders
32 (32) Raiders 0-2-0 And with the first overall pick in the 2007 NFL draft the Oakland Raiders select...

That's all I have to say. If you have any comments, questions, or insults shoot me an email at ryanmcbain@aol.com.
