Before I get into my football rant I have something to say about this Denver Nuggets/ New York Knicks fiasco.

1. As soon the fight went down people were calling these players thugs, savages, animals ect. ect. Why is it when Black athletes get into fights they are called this? When a fight breaks out in a hockey game I don't hear anyone calling the White athletes involved these names. Bill Romanowski (who I didn't even like when he played for the Raiders) is the scum of the Earth. I don't ever recall anyone calling him a thug. It even happens in baseball. When Nolan Ryan was beating the crap out of Robin Ventura, neither of these players were called thugs.

"These people" see the tattoos and the dreads and because they don't understand the culture they just label every Black athlete a criminal. Its sad, no its disgusting that people still think this way. It doesn't matter how many LaDainian Tomlinsons or Warrick Dunns there are in sports. The Black athlete will always be viewed as a "thug" by the public when something negative goes down.

2.  I understand that David Stern wanted to lay down the law. The suspensions he gave out hit hard like a drunk driver. My main gripe is that Isiah Thomas ordered the hit on any Denver player going to the hole. He's the Robert Blake of this incident. There is even video tape evidence of Thomas telling Carmelo Anthony to stay out of the paint. But David Stern didn't have the sac to fine and suspend Thomas. You dropped the ball Stern.

Ok now some football talk...

I don't care that Brett Favre broke the all time completion record. He went out like a little hoe and got me ZERO points. Because of this I lost my playoff game in fantasy football. I should have started Rex Grossman. At least I'm playing for the championship in my other league. But I'm still pissed!! So F*ck you Brett Favre. You win the RyanMcBain.com Fantasy Football Hoe Cake Award.
