1. OAKLAND RAIDERS a.k.a. PLANET EARTH'S TEAM

JAMARCUS RUSSELL

Quarterback | Junior | L.S.U.

Height: 6-5 1/2 | Weight: 265 | 40-Time: 4.83
Strengths:
JaMarcus Russell has rare size and bulk for the QB position. He probably has the strongest arm in all of football (college or pro) and can make all the throws. An outstanding pure athlete who is very powerful and a load to bring down. He is mobile enough to avoid pressure and can hurt defenses with his feet. Russell does a superb job of keeping his eyes downfield and has a very quick release. He has no problem throwing well on the run. Russell is a leader with good poise and composure. Has great upside considering that he got better every season.

Weaknesses:

Is relatively raw as a passer and will need to work on his technique and throwing mechanics. Has made great strides in the accuracy department but there is still room for improvement. His numbers might have been inflated because of the system he played in. Russell's timed speed is solid but nothing to write home about.

2. DETROIT LIONS

BRADY QUINN

Quarterback | Senior | Notre Dame
Height: 6-3 3/4 | Weight: 232 | 40-Time: 4.73

  Strengths:
Brady Quinn has the prototypical size, is a hard worker, and a great leader with elite intangibles. He is smart and does not make many mistakes with the ball. Quinn is very strong and does not go down easily. Has arm strength is excellent and so are his throwing mechanics. A good athlete who can move in the pocket and scramble a bit. He has a lot of experience against top-notch competition and knows how to read a defense. He has been lucky enough to have been well schooled in a pro-style offenses by a noted quarterback guru. He is tough and has never missed any action despite taking quite a beating at times during his career. Quinn is a clutch player who has come through big in tough situations and plays his best when the game is on the line.

Weaknesses:
His accuracy tends to get spotty at times and will struggle under pressure like most quarterbacks. Some people are concerned he may be a product of Charlie Weis' system since he didn't really emerge until his junior year. Despite the big numbers he didn't have quite the senior year some were expecting due in large part to his offensive line.

3. CLEVELAND BROWNS

ADRIAN PETERSON

Running Back | Junior | Oklahoma

Height: 6-1 1/2 | Weight: 217 | 40-Time: 4.40
  Strengths:
Adrian Peterson has good size and a big frame with great strength to match. His is a tough runner who looks for contact and will deliver a blow. Has terrific speed and can run away from defenders. He is explosive and a natural runner with great vision and instincts. Peterson displays phenomenal balance and patience. He has the ability to be a true workhorse and he seems to get better as the game goes on. Is able to run effectively inside and outside. Has soft hands and has potential as a receiver.

Weaknesses:
Durability is a major concern and he was unable to even make it through a entire college season healthy. Peterson runs too high and he will leave himself open to some big hits. He didn't get many opportunities as a pass catcher and he's not a great route runner. Not real nifty and won't make people miss. Needs to become a better blocker. Already has quite a bit of mileage on his tires which is a concern.

4. TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS

CALVIN JOHNSON

Wide Receiver | Junior | Georgia Tech
Height: 6-5 | Weight: 239 | 40-Time: 4.35
  Strengths:
Outstanding size with a big frame and is cut. His is a terrific natural athlete with long arms and big hands. A phenomenal leaper...Tremendous ball skills. Calvin Johnson has exceptional body control to adjust to poorly thrown balls. Excellent hands and will snatch the ball out of the air. Johnson is a long-strider with very good speed for his size and the ability to separate from his defenders. Is Very effective as a blocker. He is smart and grounded without the ego you see from a lot of wideouts these days.

Weaknesses:
Disappears from some games and will have lapses in concentration. Drops balls he shouldn't at times. Not overly explosive and lacks elite timed speed. He still has some work to do as a route runner and needs to master the finer points. Wasn't able to develop properly because he never had consistent play from his quarterback.
