In-Depth Update On Steve Austin's WWE Status & Future

Steve Austin has several problems on his hands right now and it has been a stressful last week or two for him.

On April 12th, an article in the National Enquirer is scheduled to accuse Austin of numerous domestic assaults. It will accuse him of beating his ex-wife so badly that she fled to a battered women's institute.

Austin is also dealing with a domestic incident in which charges have not been filed yet with his ex girlfriend. She has apparently refused to leave Austin's property which has forced Steve to move out several miles down the road to his own apartment.

And the third major thing Steve Austin is dealing with is a heated contract renegotiation with Vince McMahon. Austin and his new layer met with Vince McMahon last week. Vince stated that he wanted some of the revenue Austin makes from outside projects. Vince feels that Austin's exposer comes from WWE and feels he should get something out of it. Austin's attorney feels differently and a heated argument took place on Friday.

A deal with WWE is expected to be worked out but it may take some time. As it stands right now, Austin may not be at RAW next week due to ongoing negotiations.
