Microsoft Gangstas

People always ask me if Xbox Live is worth paying for. In my humble opinion, arguments like this make the service well worth it. Comedy gold.

The House GOP Finally Stop Acting like Bitches…For Now

So John Boehner and his House Posse finally caved in and gave the middle class the two month payroll extension they (we) deserve. This tax cut should have been for all of 2012, but we all know the GOP would never let that happen. If they did, it would give President Barack Obama tremendous momentum during his re-election campaign.

The Republicans wanted this bill to fail, so they could blame President Obama for raising taxes on the middle class and cutting off unemployment benefits. They believed Obama was going to veto anything with the Keystone XL oil pipeline attached to it. So the GOP decided to add the pipeline nonsense. When the compromised bill passed the Senate and Obama chose not to veto it (money for the middle class isn’t something you should play around with), some of the House Republicans started sweating like a hooker in church. Even though the Republicans were getting their damn pipeline, they didn’t want Obama to get credit for the extension. So they started bitching and moaning about how they wanted the year extension all along, and it was the Democrats who were blocking them. Pricks.

They probably were stalling so they could find something to add to the bill so Obama would veto it for sure. Thank God more people than they expected (the public, the President, Senate Republicans etc.) saw through their childish bullshit and demanded they sign the damn bill.

After this small victory for the Democrats, I don’t even want to think about what machinations the Republicans will come up with when the two month extension is over.

[Stay Classy Republicans…Stay Classy]
