Peter DeFazio is spot on. The bail outs and tax cuts for the rich are killing this country. Derivatives don’t create jobs. Tax cuts on rich don’t create jobs. Demand creates jobs. <\/p>\n
Cash in the hands of the poor and middle class creates demand which make jobs. When these people get money they spend it, which stimulates the economy. When the wealthy get money, they sit on it as long as they can. The rich won’t hire more people just for the sake of the economy. They would rather buy another private jet than understanding the bigger picture. In other words, Gordon Gekko was wrong – greed is not good. But I digress.<\/p>\n
It’s a shame nobody with any real power will listen to DeFazio. The fact that most people don’t watch C-SPAN isn’t helping matters. C-SPAN could show graphic gay amputee midget porn, and nobody would complain to the FCC.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
