Rapper Tim Dog has pleaded to grand larceny over an incident in which he defrauded in Mississippi woman out of tens of thousands of dollars.
Tim Dog, born Timothy Blair, pleaded guilty to grand larceny in northern Mississippiover a financial scheme that defrauded the woman out of $32,000.
According to reports, Tim Dog met the woman on an online dating site, and the pair began a long distance relationship.
The rapper, best known for his hit “F**k Compton,” told the woman he was attempting to rebuild his music career and needed investors for his album.
Over the course of the relationship, Tim Dog defrauded the woman out of tens of thousands of dollars.
The rapper avoided jail time, but must serve 5 years of probation and must pay over $19,000 in restitution during his probationary period.
