  • Beanie Sigel Says 50 Cent Used Him For Publicity

Former Roc-A-Fella Records recording artist, Beanie Sigel, had quite a year. After dropping a new track in October 2009, where he called out his former boss Jay-Z, he hooked up with one of Hova's rivals -- 50 Cent.

From there, things got interesting. Beans and 50 went on a campaign, where the Philly rapper began airing out the Roc's dirty laundry on radio and through other media outlets. It seemed he'd go on to become the next artist on Fif's G-Unit imprint.

That never happened, and now, Beans is back on his own.

According to the rapper, Fif' used him to drum up interest in his latest album, Before I Self Destruct, but he's not mad about it. In a recent interview with The Source, Beans said he holds no grudge against 50, and is perfectly fine with both of them using each other for publicity.

"If 50 Cent is using Beans to do what he's going to do, that's cool," the rapper told the mag. "But at the same time, Beans is using 50 Cent to do what I need to be done. So at the end of the day, we use each other, but we don't misuse each other."

According to TheBoomBox.com, Beanie is gearing up for the release of his next record, Roc Boys, which will feature unreleased Beanie/Freeway collaborations and State Property tracks, and is slated for a February 23rd release through Siccness Records.

Rumored guests include Wale, Young Chris and Wale.
