  • More ECW Shows; Tazz To Wrestle?, Sandman/WWE

The following is an excerpt from an article from The Sun in the UK (available online at thesun.co.uk) on the aftermath of the ECW One Night Stand show:

Shane Douglas is set to milk the extreme cash cow even if Vince McMahon doesn't.

And it seems Vince knows this and is preparing for, at the very least, an ECW non-televised tour of his own.

The McMahons already have much of the talent, including Paul Heyman, Rob Van Dam, Tommy Dreamer, The Dudleys, Chris Benoit, Rey Mysterio, Eddie Guerrero and Chris Jericho on their books.

Lance Storm could be talked out of his impending retirement and Tazz is there to provide commentary if not actually to wrestle.

Announcer Joey Styles, who was fantastic at One Night Stand, has signed a two-year contract and Super Crazy and Psychosis made their WWE debuts this week, although without much fanfare on Velocity.

We also hear that Sabu, Mike Awesome and Sandman have all spoken to WWE management.

It's very unlikely those three - who are well past their peaks and best in a hardcore environment - would thrive on Raw or Smackdown.

So the fact Vince is seriously considering hiring them must bode well for all those hoping for more frequent extreme reunions.
