Wonder Woman Gets No Love
It’s a shame Joss Whedon is only working with Marvel Studios and not DC Comics. He’s probably one of the few people I could see writing a superb Wonder Woman film. If you ever watched Buffy The Vampire Slayer, you would know Whedon can make female heroes look strong.
The DC movie machine has so many problems. In an interview Joss Whedon gave his opinion as to why DC movies are mostly hot garbage.
“Batman was the only character they had who was so rooted in pain, that had that same gift that the Marvel characters had, which was that gift of humanity that we can relate to.” …”And the thing that made [rival publisher] Marvel Comics extraordinary was that they created people. Their characters weren’t living in mythical cities, they lived in New York.”
Joss Whedon has a gift for making you care about people. I’m sure it didn’t hurt having Marvel characters to work with.
I never understood interventions. What’s the point of being told you drink too much from a room full of reasons why you drink in the first place?
