Charlie Sheen…WINNING!

Jimmy Fallon did a spot on impersonation of Charlie Sheen last night on his show. “Winning (For Men)”, is probably one of the funniest spoofs I’ve seen in years. Pure genius! I just hope nothing bad happens to Mr. Sheen. I don’t want to feel guilty later on because I laughed at this.

I’m sure by now the entire world knows about the Charlie Sheen media explosion going on right now. I typically ignore celebrities but for some reason I’m in awe of this man. It’s not the fact that he is a millionaire, famous, and fornicates with porn stars. It’s the fact that whatever he does, the entire world watches. It’s like he’s the Ric Flair of the celebrity world.

The second he got on twitter it was like he took it over. Charlie had about a million followers in 24 hours. I know because I was one of them. Keep doing your thing Charlie!

Winning…

Pepsi takes Racial Stereotypes to the Max

Super Bowl 45 is still going on but that’s not what’s on my mind.

I can’t believe Pepsi would make this type of commercial. It’s a racial stereotype that probably wont get too much attention though it should for it’s complete lack of common sense and cultural understanding. It seems someone at Pepsi finds it funny to show a Black man to be powerless to resist a White woman (even if he is evolved with a Black woman).

This stereotype has been around for ages, and the last thing I want is having it rubbed in my face on national television. I’m surprised the Black couple didn’t start doing the Jim Crow dance at the end. Super Bowl commercials have been turned down on more than one occasion. I have no idea how this one slipped through the cracks.

Someone at Pepsi must have never taken a Black history class.

Comcast already throwing it’s weight around

The acquisition of NBC barely went down, yet Comcast is already making major moves.

Keith Olbermann, MSNBC’s most successful personality has been cut loose by the network. It makes no sense considering Olbermann’s show had huge ratings. It would seem Comcast wishes to move MSNBC closer to the right. The contriversial host of Final Countdown had 2 years remaining on his deal. Hopefully he won’t have to sit out too long.

Comcast has yet to make an announcement, but the rumor is they didn’t like Olbermann’s defiance.

Huh?

Considering Keith Olbermann was bringing in big time money for NBC, it seems like Comcast didn’t like his stance against right wing nonsense. Comcast is controlled by the Roberts family, whom are known to be supporters of conservative interests. Just another reason NOT to like Comcast.

Keep your head up Keith! I got nothing but love for ya baby!
