  • In Flight Or In Fiction?

It's amazing how much time one can spend thinking about life, in a single day.
Revelation tells of a day when "the stars will fall from the Heavens".
A dying friend tells of a time she soon will "travel the stars" with her husband, whose soul is all that is left still alive.
I begin to imagine what our souls must look like.
    Full of light and energy...
    Like the stars!
Curiously, I wonder if stars are the same as souls?
Souls of those who died before us, alive still and, only, by their light and energy...
Their is a story I once heard.
It tells of a day when God will hide away His elect and chosen believers...
In order to protect them from the devistation of the "end times."
It would make sense, then, if the stars are souls.
When "the stars will fall from the heavens", in actuality, is God placing them in hiding from devistation.
As is mentioned and was promised.
If stars are truly the souls of those before us...
    Traveling with one another...
    I imagine them dancing.
    They have but one movement...
    Beautiful...
    Without pain and clumsy footing.
They no longer have heavy bodies and disease to slow them down.
    They float...
    Fly...
    Flow...
    And form to one another.
Illuminated by light, these angelic beings are full of life...
    Calm and soothing.
Immeasureable, is their love, for all creations.
    Their movements are in sync...
    In rhythm with one another...
As if they had the same beat within their hearts.
If we could see them, these colorful beams of light, the way they see one another...
We'd see the same faces we once recognized here on earth.
We would see the loved one's before us.
But until we are in the same form as they...
For now, we may only see the brilliant twinkle of a wishful star.

..... I saw a film once, I have no idea what it was, but it showed two people sitting on a blanket outside... it zoomed into the girls hand, magnified on to her skin, through her bones, deeper and deeper into her being... the deeper the magnification got, into the atoms, the quirks, and nucleas of the atoms, the more what I was seeing looked like deep in space... I don't know if this is the persons soul, but our bodies, when examined on the microscopic level, do look like the stars.... I loved this poem...

Wow, that was next level. It was more like a talk than a poem. I picture you expressing this deep feeling of wonder and excitemnt with someone close to you. This was great and nothing short of what I expect from you.

Thank you for your insight...as always it is taken with great appreciation. And, Genesis02, you are right...it was just my thoughts and expressions, in the form of rambled words, not poetry at all...but in the same sense, depending upon how it is laid out and perceived by the reader...it is all poetry, in some form or another. =)
