My Thought Piece
Apathy of the wicked came from events of despair
Empathy given to others often seems rare
They say good morning but I'm still here
Thinking of the conclusion rather then what's near
The more you know the more you owe...and question
Its a conundrum with reciprocal answers, but God calls it a blessing
The present is a gift, blah blah I've heard it before
Cleaning bedraggled thoughts with rum is the next chore
Then create a few scriptures before the results bring me to the floor
I know what will occur even with my thought piece in a blur
My past gave a lesson, the future will bring the final test I'm sure
