  • Former Tupac Bodyguard Claims To Have Been An FBI Agent

Ten years after the death of Tupac Shakur, a former bodyguard for the rapper has come forward, claiming to be an agent for the FBI.

According to TMZ, Kevin Hackie, who was employed by Death Row Records for a period of four years from 1992-1996, says that he was in fact working undercover for the FBI. Hackie reportedly admitted to being an actual undercover agent, not an informant as had been previously reported, during an interview session that was to be used as part of the DVD Tupac Assassination: Conspiracy or Revenge.

Hackie is now said to be retired from the field of law enforcement and is now heading up his own private security business.

The DVD, Tupac Assassination: Conspiracy or Revenge comes out today (October 23) and is said to feature never before seen interviews with other bodyguards as well as police officers who were on the scene on the night of the fatal shooting. The documentary also has an accompanying soundtrack, featuring appearances by Tupac's brother, Mopreme, as well as Warren G and Money B of Tupac's former group, Digital Underground.
