Yup, another Library Of A Legend. The first of the series (only the Jay-Z one was mine....but...whatever) to feature a producer. It is 12 full discs of production from J Dilla/Jay Dee, featuring artists from Slum Village to Busta Rhymes to Common Sense. There are rare remixes, and some of the man's earliest work. Almost all of the tracks are 192 or VBR, but there are about 20 @ 128. There are 213 tracks in total in the compilation. Enjoy...

This compilation is in tribute to one of the finest producers hip-hop has ever seen. Very
few artists ever achieved Jay Dee's level of technical brilliance. He battled a kidney
disorder for the last 3 years, finally succumbing to it on Friday, February 10th, 2006.
In his passing, he left an archive of music difficult to top, and a list of influeced
artists as long as any hip-hop artist ever. This 12-disc set doesn't even chronicle his
work as a member of the Detroit group Slum Village on their first two studio albums,
'Fantastic, Vol. 1' and 'Fantastic, Vol. 2'. He has also released a full-length solo LP,
'Welcome To Detroit', and two full length, retail beat-tapes, 'Vintage' and 'Donuts'.
All of these can be found in stores today. If you enjoy the man's work, I urge you to
purchase these albums, and the 2 as yet unreleased albums he completed before his passing.
