So, glancing at the local sports headlines this morning as I was drinking a venti cup of vanilla latte and taking a drag off my cuban cigar, I couln't help but notice to read how the Raiders lost their most valuable player, Randy Moss. I guess I can't blame him, he's not getting any younger and wants to go to New England where he at least has a shot at being a champion contender. I just couldn't believe how idiotic the Raiders management must be, letting go of the last threshold of any hope they had to get them out of their dire misery. Of course, others might argue that their newly first round pick might be able to revitalize this team that no longer seems to have a pulse and been declared clinically dead. The only thought that lingered in my mind is, "Being the worst team last year of the entire NFL and hardly escaping with just a handful of meager victories last year, it's not like they can do worse unless they finish with negative losses this year. When you hit rock bottom, there isn't such a thing as getting any lower." But then again, we're speaking of the Raiders. "Or is there?"
