As of right now, it is not expected that Jeff Hardy will be returning to WWE anytime soon.
There were talks of bringing Jeff back for the Cruiserweight Open, but the idea was eventually nixed. WWE feels that Hardy is too stubborn and that he has not changed and improved enough to warrant a new deal with WWE.
WWE was forced to release Jeff Hardy for failing two drug tests and refusing to go to rehab. Since leaving WWE, Hardy has still not undergone proper rehab.
